Narrator: "Mickey Mouse had been to Neverland to be healed. Some Troublesome hunters tricked him, and the Mouse fell into the turntable well.

Now, Mickey Mouse was as good as new, but he was still worried about Hunters."

Mickey Mouse: "I'd rather not use them."

Narrator: "He said to himself.

But the Hunters sang songs rude and loud.

Gilda, their leader, led the chorus."

Gilda and Hunters: "Mickey Mouse's no use at all, thinks he's very clever, says that he can manage us, that's the best joke ever! When he orders us about, with the greatest folly, we just push him down the well, Pop! goes old Mickey!"

Narrator: "Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle were shocked."

Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo: "Be quiet!"

Narrator: "They ordered.

But they couldn't be everywhere, and everywhere they weren't, the Hunters began again."

Gilda and Hunters: "Mickey Mouse's no use at all, thinks he's very clever, says that he can manage us, that's the best joke ever!"

Narrator: "At last, the characters gave up.

Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo: "We're sorry, Mickey."

Narrator: "They said."

Mickey Mouse: "It's really my fault."

Narrator: "Said Mickey Mouse sadly

Mickey Mouse: "I shouldn't have fallen in the turntable well.

Narrator: "Philippe, the horse, felt sorry for Mickey, too.

Next morning, he spoke to Dale."

Philippe: "I'm worried, Mr. Dale, this disrespect for Mouse. When is it going to end?"

Dale: "Who knows?"

Narrator: "Sighed Dale."

Philippe: "I've got a plan, Mr. Dale. May I stay here today and help Mr. Mickey? We are both Characters, and must stand together."

Dale: "Of course, Philippe."

Narrator: "Replied Dale, and puffed away.

Soon, Philippe was explaining his plan."

Scootaloo: "Goodness gracious, Philippe, I don't think you should suggest such a thing to Mickey!"

Narrator: "But Mickey interrupted."

Mickey Mouse: "No, Scootaloo, Philippe's right, It's really my fault. I must put this trouble right!"

Philippe: "I meant no disrespect, you understand."

Mickey Mouse: "Of course not, Philippe. Anyway, Animator says the same, and he's arranged it with the stationmaster."

Scootaloo: "Very well, Mickey."

Narrator: "Concieted Scootaloo."

Scootaloo: "But I must hurry, my passengers will be waiting. Good luck!"

Mickey Mouse: "So long!"

Narrator: "Smiled Mickey bravely, but he felt dreadfully nervous inside.

Mickey marshalled the worst Hunters two by two."

Philippe: "That's the way, Mr. Mickey."

Narrator: "Whispered Philippe."

Philippe: "And if you leave that Gilda till' last, you can have her behind you, and you can bump her if she starts his nonsense."

Gilda: "Hold back, hold back!"

Narrator: "Whispered Gilda."

Gilda: "And pass the word to the others."

Narrator: "The silly Hunters giggled.

But Mickey knew what to do. There was plenty of sand on the ground, and his feet gripped splendidly. He gave a great heave."

Gilda: "Oh!"

Narrator: "Groaned Gilda!

Gilda: "I don't like this!"

Scootaloo: "Go it!"

Narrator: "Yelled Scootaloo."

Scootaloo: "Well done, boy, well done!"

Gilda: "Oh!"

Narrator: "Wailed Gilda."

Gilda: "Oooh!

I'm coming apart!"

Narrator: "And she did.

Then there was trouble."

George Hautcourt: "Well, Mickey, so you don't know your own strength. Is that it?"

Mickey Mouse: "N-no, Sir."

Narrator: "Said Mickey nervously.

George Hautcourt inspected Gilda."

George Hautcourt: "As I thought. Rotten wings, rusty claws. Maybe if we put you back together, you'll earn yourself a better name."

Narrator: "Nowadays, Mickey only takes the Hunters when the other characters are busy.

But they're always quick to warn each other,"

Hunters: "Take care with Mr. Mickey. If you play tricks on him, you'll never be the same Hunter again!"

Narrator: "Gilda has learned her lesson, and says nothing at all."
